In March 2012 we both quit our longstanding jobs to travel, originally planning to spend a full two years travelling around Europe in our motorhome, and then maybe go further afield. As everyone knows, plans can change.
After a fantastic time touring for over seven months through France, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Croatia, in early November 2012 we were recalled home for unexpected and extremely sad personal reasons.
Resuming our travels in May 2013 we toured north up through France, Belgium and Holland, then into Scandinavia - Denmark, Sweden and Norway, arriving at Nordkapp for mid summers day, before returning down through Finland, crossing by ferry into the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and another ferry to Germany and into Holland then France.
Returning home again temporarily in the winter of 2013, we sold our trusty motorhome and made plans to tour the USA, and so here we are.
We've created this blog for family, friends and the rest of the world to follow our adventures as we travel the United States of America between March 2014 and March 2015. Its going to be a work in progress so please follow us we build it up.
